How it behaves
Exactly what the prompt builds — every timing and easing is specified, so the result matches the demo.
- A white section (#FFFFFF) with a big centered expanded heading and a list of rows separated by hairlines.
- On hover, a band as wide as the whole viewport grows from 50% to 100% width (scaleX, 500ms, cubic-bezier(.22,1,.36,1)) while fading in (200ms). It is black ink (#0A0A0A).
- The row's text turns white in 200ms and its index turns red (#D71212).
- The description slides open underneath using a grid-template-rows: 0fr → 1fr transition (500ms) and fades in 100ms later.
- On touch devices (no hover) the descriptions are always open, so nothing is hidden.
- Each row is a link; the band never causes horizontal scrolling.
